The Sauermann Si-RD3 leak detector is a portable instrument designed to identify refrigerant gas leaks in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. It uses a heated diode sensor that detects a wide range of refrigerant gases, such as HFC, HFCF, R1234yf, R1234ze, R290, R600a, and specific hydrogen mixtures at 5% with nitrogen at 95% (Nidron 5, Trace-A-Gas). It features adjustable sensitivity modes (low, medium, and high) and manual or automatic zeroing function to optimize detection accuracy.
