Polti M0004992 Pump: Replacement for Vaporella Forever 400 Boiler Iron

The M0004992 pump is the original Polti replacement pump for the Vaporella Forever 400 Inox, 400 Pro, 400 Pro Grey, 400 Especial, and Vaporella 400 Especial ironing centers. Its function is to send water from the tank to the boiler to be converted into steam. If the pump loses flow or stops working, the boiler will not refill, and the iron will lose autonomy until it stops producing steam.

Common symptoms indicating the pump needs replacement

  • The iron quickly loses pressure and autonomy.
  • The pump makes loud noises or knocks but does not push water.
  • Repeated dry noise (“clac-clac”) without water entering the boiler.
  • The boiler does not refill even though the tank has water.
  • Intermittent steam output or steam mixed with water.
